Your Hosts
Meet your LOVEMEAL® hosts. Husband and wife for over 30 years, they are the founders of Lifetime Marriages and have spent the past three decades working consistently with couples, offering marriage enrichment, therapeutic interventions, counselling, coaching and mentoring. They believe that every relationship has the capacity to grow: from not-so-good to good, from good to better, from better to best and from best to record-breaking. For 12 years, they successfully hosted annual couples’ weekend retreats, building transformative experiences for marriages until the Covid-19 pandemic brought those gatherings to a pause.
Dr Siyanda & Mrs Batendi Mkweli
LIFETIME MARRIAGES Founders
Batendi brings over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector. She is a qualified Behavioural Couples Therapist, as well as a practising Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Counsellor.
Siyanda is a national award-winning Coach and Mentor. He is certified in Solution-Focused Brief Couples Therapy, a qualified Action Learning Facilitator and works extensively using the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.
Together, Siyanda and Batendi also provide Pre-Marriage Coaching using the SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Assessment guiding couples into authentic communication and helping to lay the groundwork for a strong marital foundation.
